Wes’s Window on Sun

by wes

The sun and I had a great weekend together. The smell of sunscreen and watermelon is in the air, and honestly, summer is starting and I’m here for it. People are smiling in the streets again, that easy kind of happiness that only shows up when the days stretch long and everything feels possible.

It’s funny how energy shifts. A couple of weeks ago, I was talking about how life sometimes hits in threes, the stress, the setbacks, the “seriously?” moments. Back then, I was buried under one of those runs, including a $4,000 red-light ticket that nearly broke my mood.

But here’s the twist: ticket revoked. Turns out, the footage showed I wasn’t running the light at all, just overtaking a bus that decided to nap in the middle of the lane. And somehow, that one bit of good news cracked the door open for more.

Work’s rolling, the weather’s perfect, and the whole world feels slightly tilted toward good things. I’m not big on cosmic talk, but it does seem like positivity multiplies when you lean into it. In real estate, it’s the same. You can feel when momentum shifts. One deal clicks, one client smiles, and suddenly the whole week hums with possibility.

I get almost giddy with excitement when putting together a complicated deal and both the buyer and seller walk away feeling like they won. There’s something deeply satisfying about seeing everyone feel they won, it’s rare, but when it happens, it feels like hitting the perfect rhythm

Good energy attracts more of it. Maybe that’s not magic. Maybe that’s just what happens when you stop bracing for the next bad thing and start noticing the light instead.
